Hi my name is Michael and I am new to this forum. You will be hearing from me quite a bit on the forum in the coming weeks. I love posting guitar info! I have just recently created a website with the purpose of inspiring guitarists. It contains the story of how I started playing when I was seventeen and then went on studying guitar at a world renowned university with world renowned players. There are also recordings of really neat pieces, photos, and a composer blog. I would really like to know what you think.

Hi Michael, welcome to the forum. You've definitely "got the goods" and are a very good guitar player (video links on his web page, everyone).
I've only recently started listening to Alvaro Pierri and really like him. What is he like in person? What was his master class like?
Looking forward to hear from you on the forum.

He was very nice. A fabulous guitarist, and kind of a jokster. It was a long time ago, but I remember there was a lot of laughter. During the masterclass, he was cracking everyone up with his witty humour.
All in all, a nice guy.

Hi Michael,
Welcome to the forum. I have to admit when I first read this post, I thought you had a somewhat confused premise for your website.:) But after visiting it and poking around, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading your "Story",...and wouldn't you know I DID find your attitude and approach to music inspiring.
Your videos are wonderful also...they give me this strange sensation that you are spinning straw into gold, haha, can't put my finger on it. Anyway, the music is 100% beautiful now. Hope you stick around the forum.

At the beginning I also thought you were looking for guitarists traffic to your website, but curiosity could more and I visited the place, read the story and watched one video.
Right now it does not matter to me if you wanted some healthy traffic  -besides giving a very nice story to take into example/consideration for our own- or not, because it all transpired honesty.
Welcome here, and hopefully you will become a regular poster.

Michael,
I listened to and watched you play the Prelude to Bach Suite for Cello BWV 1007. It was supreme. Possibly the most impressive performance I've ever heard on this forum. (And there have been many really great ones.) Your performance of this piece was astounding.

Very nice. I can't imagine studying with someone like Fisk--I'd be so nervous that I couldn't even tune! I also enjoyed your defense of him on the Delcamp site.
