Nothing special on this end. We were invited to visit relatives 4 hours away but decided not to make the drive.

Bought some Boston Markets frozen turkey breast medallions with gravy and stuffing. Will make the mashed potatoes. Also, bought a frozen cream pie. Am I a domestic goddess or what? :)

Seriously, neither of us wanted to stress on it and hubby's already said he's looking forward to his quiet, casual time off. He'll play some WoW and I'll play some guitar and we'll both be happy.

Happy T-day to everyone here! :D

wow... how do you do that? I mean the large writing....

anyway I fully endorse the festive spirit.
I had to wake up at 5am this morning, to negotiate a contract with US Holiday non-observant countries (UK) and hope to be still awake by the time the Bird will be ready.

Can't wait for the one universal Holiday... the 12 days of Christmas! I am planning to record a few things then... and then post.... for everyone to trash me.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

well first I may require a "confidentiality" "non-disparaging" "non-ridiculing" agreement to be signed (click'd-on) by any interested listener...
I already am experiencing a degree of "stage fright" at the idea of the distinguished members of this club "checking my stuff out".

Nothing worse than those condescending comments:
CGram: "nice try Michelob, was it the cello you said you also enjoy...?" or
Nlong: "why didn't you turn off the Laundry Machine while performing... ?" or
Todd: “Michelob you are a good Bud, so we won't give it to you straight... but have you considered taking ...LESSONS"
or the worst ever....
Iberianwolf: "what a waste the Magnificent Jose Ramirez in the hands of such biginner.. "
PedroO: "Michelob may be you should WRITE ABOUT music!!"
and Brian: "Michelob there is an intermediate book of really easy etudes... no do not buy that one... get the one for those who cannot play the easy etudes yet" or
Threax "you sound better when you speak about Bellucci, and i cannot stand how you keep doing that".....
then finally Tim would intervene and lock the Thread which links you to my sweet recordings and DISCLAIM:
"GSI does not agree with any of the alleged music this unrelated and now out casted embarrassing member has thought was funny to share... the sand box is the only place where this noise will be tolerated by similarly childish beginners!"

May be I should not post after all... Huh?

The Comedy Act... well that would be one way to put it to good use...

On the Lawyers related Jokes... That is for a different "Forum" where other members compete for attention... but you can hit me a few times if you so feel compelled to do....

It's simple, you already got the hard part down (uploading the image to a server). You just surround the url with image tags before the url and after it. (You can also do it as an attachment and it will upload it to the forum server, although it makes it a clickable thumbnail instead of a full-sized image.)

Here's your pic:

http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h196/Locust777/ThanksgivingIndian.jpgI appreciate your help, Sandra. Just HTML 101, right? I didn't bother looking into the attachment option you mentioned since it only leaves you with a thumbnail anyway but I have to say that the thing that really threw me off was that pesky little icon up there that says "insert image," which doesn't seem to do anything. At any rate, I know now what needs to be done to accomplish the task. Thanks again for your time.

Actually, it's BB (bulletin board) code, although vBulletin calls it vB code (http://forum.guitarsalon.com/misc.php?do=bbcode). It's similar to HTML but not quite the same. HTML is turned off here, as it poses a security risk. Someone could insert malicious code like those sites that install malware automatically just by visiting them, or a javascript redirect to hijack you to another site. :(

Do you by any chance have a pop-up blocker installed? Because that "insert image" icon you mentioned should pop up a box prompting you to enter the url for the image, then when you click ok, it puts it in the reply box surrounded by the image tags.

It's funny because that icon is working now. It wasn't when I first tried it and wasn't in my last post, because I tried it again, but it is working now. I never have problems with any other pop-ups. Who knows? Thanks again for your help.
