"I purchased these tuners to upgrade my 44 year old Montero & Bellido Granada flamenco guitar (I did not realize at the time that the original ones had 36 mm spacing -- two standards 1 mm apart!). It took a little work to elongate some of the peg holes and fill a few screw holes, but the end result is stunning. The old tuners would move in jerks, making tuning difficult. In addition, I always had an annoying problem with some of the strings going sharp after playing awhile. These problems went away entirely with the new tuners. The action is smooth and solid. I highly recommend these for an upgrade, even if some work is needed to mount them."
