This is a wonderful example of a powerful guitar by one of the greatest makers of the 20th century. These instruments have been the primary guitars played by all members of the Romeros in recording and on stage throughout their careers. The sound is percussive and boomy, and great fun to play. This guitar would do beautifully on a concert stage or with an orchestra. Action is fast and very, very responsive. Rodriguez instruments from this period typically have long scale string length (664mm) but this one was built as a standard “650mm” which many players will welcome for the improved playability. Condition is near-mint, with no cracks or repairs. This guitar is both highly collectible and very satisfying to play.
