| Spanish guitar phenomenon Paco de Lucia is widely regarded as the most influential flamenco guitarist of the latter half of the 20th century. He is famous worldwide for the way he both revolutionized and popularized the previously obscure Spanish folk music known as "flamenco". Having often collaborated with other guitar greats such as Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin, and Carlos Santana, to name just a few, he is very well respected in the guitarist community.
