One of Europe's most interesting guitar makers. His guitars are very heavy due to having extra-thick back and sides. This forces the top to do all the vibrating, making these guitars project extremely well while retaining all the clarity of the note. This instrument is extremely well-suited to ensemble work (with percussion ensemble, orchestra, piano, etc.) and Pepe Romero has had great success performing on these guitars for concerto work while on tour in Europe. It is also used by members of guitar ensembles, including the Brazilian Guitar Quartet and Guitart Quartet.These guitars also have a unique aesthetic - very simple design in the headstock, rosette and purfling, which allows for the dramatic natural elements to stand out.

This model has two additional bass strings, which many players will find helpful for transcribing baroque and renaissance music originally written for lute. It will also prove ideal for ensemble work, thanks to the extended range.
