One of the best Central European makers we've seen to date. He uses spectacular materials including gorgeous German spruce which is covered in bearclaws and has irregular, yet tight and beautiful grain patters. The wood used for the back and sides for this guitar is quartered Indian rosewood. The sound of this guitar is very clean and extremely loud, with a very robust, rounded, thick, yet clear type of sound. Very influenced by the traditional Spanish masters including Santos Hernandez, Vicente Arias and Antonio de Torres, this guitar is very lightweight and has a slightly smaller body size. Tobias Braun is also the translator (into German) of the Jose Romanillos book on Torres.

This example from 2002 is in great condition and has a wonderfully broken-in tone.
