Boston-based Aaron Green took an early interest in guitar construction while still in his teens, and was fortunate enough to be working amidst a steady stream of professional classical and flamenco players. This gave him great insight into building techniques that would yield results in players' hands. Aaron is also himself a player and has studied flamenco with Roberto Rios and classical with John Bigelow. His most well-known association is perhaps with the great flamenco player and pedagogue Dennis Koster, who has been a constant companion in providing invaluable feedback over much of Aaron's career. Given this luthier's approach to building, this particular guitar has all the features you would expect: from a playability standpoint, a very comfortable neck contour, easy concert action height and comfortable degree of relief in the fretboard, etc. For quality of tone - it has a very harmonically rich, full-bodied sound, yet the notes remain clearly separated, almost as if the most desirable elements in both cedar and spruce have been fused into one instrument. It is also notably quite powerful and will fill any sized concert hall, and also record beautifully. A fantastic instrument by one of the finer traditional US builders. Although used, it is in excellent condition.
