Our friends at Contreras turned us on to some great videos that feature Contreras guitars – The first is the story of a very unique flamenco singer, Ricardo Fernandez del Moral, who accompanies himself as he sings. It is more than rare to see a legitimate flamenco singer (as opposed to a rumbero or festero) accompany himself, but Fernandez del Moral is definitely a legitimate singer, and is even winning some of the more important Cante competitions in Spain. Not surprisingly, he started as a guitarist.

The second is a beautifully shot video of guitarist Raul Funes performance of ‘El Dia Que Me Quieras’ by Gardel and Lepera on his Contreras, quite appropriately in a bar in Argentina.
