Here’s Taso Comanescu playing Bach’s Gavotte en Rondeau (BWV 1006a) on a great new 2015 Richard Reynoso cedar and Indian classical. Big thanks to the folks at Radial Engineering for sending us a pair of their Power Pre’s to use for this recording (the mics I used were the Neumann km84’s I use for most of the videos). I have a feeling I’m going to have to keep these preamps.

Beautiful…Both the performance and the guitar were excellent…very clear and warm sounding. And, Taso is very accomplished. I would buy the CD of him playing this instrument.

Another lovely performance from Taso Comanescu. His playing has a very special quality which should put him on the priority list for an international career.
I preferred the sound of the previous Reynoso that he demonstrated but maybe that was the recording and not the guitar.

Wonderful performance! Bravo, Taso! It is so nice to hear the younger players start to infuse the music of Bach with a sensual beauty of tone and with such poignant inflection in phrasing once again. This has been sorely missed.

And, Bravo to the luthier, Richard Reynoso as well! He builds world-class guitars that enable talented players to express themselves in this beautiful way, to all of our delights.

    Well done! Thank you.
