Here’s more of Roland Dyens from our Live at GSI concert last month. This time he plays two pieces he wrote in California – The Wiz and Angelo’s Waltz – on that great 1956 Robert Bouchet guitar.

Big thanks to the folks at AEA (http://www.ribbonmics.com) for lending us a pair of their N8 and N22 Active series ribbon mics and an RPQ preamp to record the show!

Lovely music well played. Beautiful guitar. What’s the difference between a Robert Bouchet guitar and the current Amalio Bouchet instruments? This one seems to be voiced totally differently from the newer Bouchet instruments I’ve heard and/or played.

@ Sam: are you confusing Burguet with Bouchet? If so, there is no similarity at all.
