Watch Marc Teicholz play Ernesto Nazareth’s Confidencias, as arranged by Sergio Assad, on a gorgeous 1970 Miguel Rodriguez guitar whose reverse fan bracing inspired luthier Pepe Romero to change his own bracing system.

The music for this piece and other music by Nazareth is available here in this new edition featuring Sergio Assad’s arrangements and Marc’s fingerings, and the CD of this music will be released in just a few weeks – we’ll keep you posted.

Magical as always. What a great guitar player, what a superb musician.
Ernesto Nazaré (1863-1934)played the piano at music stores and cinemas (doing the sound track in the days of mute movies). The end of his life, unfortunately, was a tragic one.
