Brazilian guitarist Thiago Abdalla stopped by and so of course we shot some videos. Guitars he played are a 2011 Jochen Rothel, a 2006 Conde ‘Esteso’ and a new Kenny Hill ‘Performance.‘  Thiago is also a member of the very accomplished Brazilian guitar quartet Quaternaglia – you can check them out here.

Wow! This guy is a fantastic musician!

  2. Lawrence Tendler says:

IMHO the best sounding guitar of the three is the conde hermanos “Esteso ” which has a lot of spanish character and clarity. The first piece ,played on the John Ray ,is incredibly boring.

  3. Lawrence Tendler says:

The piece played on the John Ray is the most boring piece I have ever been subjected to.

  4. Lawrence Tendler says:

Each of these three guitars are very different sounding. The Ray sounds darker ,the Hill has good volume and the Conde has a romantic character IMHO.

  5. Lawrence Tendler says:

They all sound good. The Kenny Hill is loud and clear ,the Ray is spanish sounding and dark and the Conde is sweet.

  6. Yeah! Enjoyed that, I actually love all the sound of the different guitars, but my personal favorite I would say it the John Ray and the Conde – simple, sweet yet powerful. ๐Ÿ™‚
