It was a rosette that first drew me to a takamine 132 at a swapmeet in 1975. It was more than I could afford but I bought it anyway. Over the next three months I worked through the beginnings of a new career as a classical guitarist. Then promotions and the needs of my family crushed the next 27 years in a haze of meetings, flights, technology, and coffee,
In my dotage I now have the time to rediscover the rosette.
