Here’s Flynn Hase Spence playing Agustín Barrios’ Vals Opus 8, No. 4 on a stunning 1900’s Manuel Ramirez (exact date not known). This guitar is just an amazing example of early 20th Century Spanish luthiery.

super playing. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with that guitar. The only thing I can come up with, it’s not mine.

Great musicality, tone, and performance…all top drawer! I don’t know how anyone would could want more from a guitar…

Mr. Spence’s elegant, precise, and crystal clear playing showcases a guitar with a rare balance of tone over its entire range. The intonation seems far better than what one usually hears in guitars of that vintage, even very good ones. In short, a pleasure on a treasure–many thanks!

c’est la bonne guitare pour jouer ce morceau . les guitares en palissandre sonnent moins bien . là on revient aux origines et in comprend mieux pourquoi ils composaient des morceaux comme ça aussi .
