Eliza Carrington just graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory and has been making a name for herself in both the classical and pop worlds. She stopped by the showroom recently and recorded a few videos for us, including her own piece Gardenia, played on a great new Felipe Conde CC 36 in cedar and cocobolo and Clarice Assad’s Lullaby on a 2017 Fructuoso Zalapa ‘Romanillos’ model in spruce and cocobolo.

Lovely. I know I’m supposed to make a more knowledgable comment, e.g., on the tonal balance of the instrument or the unforced precision of the playing. (I liked the tonal balance, and even more the musicality in Ms Carrington’s interpretation.) But I dunno — it’s lovely.
