GSI Radio

Posted by Kai in News

One of the cool features of the our website is GSI Radio, which lets you stream great guitar music in the background whenever you’re on your computer. GSI Radio is a pop-out player that lets you choose from tons of audio files or just let it play and choose the music for you (the order is randomized, so every time you open the player you’ll get different pieces at the top). We have audio from our own content (older guitar audio samples and the audio from many of our videos) as well as some great CDs. And we’ll be adding content on a regular basis, so there will always be new music when you check back. The player will stay open if you leave the page you’re on or even if you leave the site, so you can have it playing in the background whatever you’re doing. We hope you enjoy it.

Is there a button so it will play continuous? Shuts off after 1 selection. Thanks

This does not open on my iPad. Is this a flash based app?

Hey Marty – yes, apparently it’s flash-based and they’re working on a version for mobile devices. I’ll definitely post about it when that’s available.

As James said, it shuts off after one selection.

Thanks for the heads up guys – I don’t have that problem on my computers, so I’m going to ask the people who know more about this than I do and see if I can figure out what’s going on. And I’ll find out if it’s flash based while I’m at it. I’m not so tech-y… I’ll post the answers here as soon as I find out – hopefully it’s a simple thing.
