My good friend Scott Wolf is launching a great new guitar-related podcast called All Strings Considered, and it’s definitely worth checking out. For the podcast Scott is interviewing some of the world’s great guitarists about the guitar and guitar music, of course, but also about some of their other interests. Scott’s description of the first episode: ‘I had the chance to talk with Scott about Spanish music, got some great practice advice, a story or two about Pumping Nylon and LAGQ, and COFFEE! Scott gives us an introduction to his favorite piece, Rodrigo’s Entre Olivares, a bit about his arrangement of the Irish folk tune Wild Mountain Thyme, and we get to hear a bit about the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet’s grammy winning album Guitar Heroes.’ Upcoming episodes will feature interviews with Adam Del Monte, Martha Masters, Roland Dyens and many more guitar greats. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the interview with Scott and I’m really looking forward to hearing more.
