We have some great videos of guitarist Matt Palmer, who was in town to perform at GFA (he also had his Carnegie Hall debut this year). Matt played La Serenor and La Joia from Vicente Asencio’s Collectici Intim on a 2002 Edmund Blochinger, and then he got to wondering how some scales would feel on a cutaway so we got him a Cordoba GK Pro negra and after warming up a little he played some of Rodrigo’s Un Tiempo Fue Italica Famosa.

Ah, a great maestro, few can make a spruce guitar treble sound as lovely. It would be great if you could have Matt try a recent Hauser for comparison with the Blochinger.
