My good friend Juanito Pascual (we played together for years back when I lived in Boston) was in town and we got a chance to catch up and record some great videos. Juanito played some of his pieces from his latest CD ‘New Flamenco Trio’ on some really great guitars. To kick it off here he is playing his Taranta ‘Prelude 1’ on a 1920 Domingo Esteso blanca.

  1. Beautiful old guitar with a noticeable bass end, very controlled, and although not a decisive treble end, it has that certain old school charm that sinks into your psyche and holds its soul in your throat.

  2. Garrett says:

Love the maple golpeadore. Nice legados. Really beautiful tone. It speaks of the years, hands and heart that made it.
