Andres Coca is a young guitarist from Madrid currently living in the Los Angeles area. I met him at a flamenco festival in San Diego and invited him to come check out some guitars, so here he is getting to know a few of the great flamencos we currently have in stock, including a 2006 Conde Hermanos ‘AF 25/R’ in spruce and koa, a 2001 Francisco Manuel Diaz ‘Simbiosis’ negra, a 1997 Tezanos-Perez negra, a 1997 Conde Hermanos ‘Felipe V’ negra and a 1962 Manuel de la Chica blanca.
It’s been another amazing year for guitar music over here at GSI and as the year wraps up we’d like to take a moment to thank all of the amazing musicians who have lent us their time and talent to create the great videos we publish every week. We obviously couldn’t do any of it without them and we are extremely grateful for the music and for the friends we’ve made over the years in our quest to record every guitar we can get our hands on! So here, in more or less reverse order of appearance, are the artists who have shared their talent with us this year:
Sérgio Assad is a Brazilian guitarist, composer, and arranger who often performs with his brother, Odair Assad, in the guitar duo Sérgio and Odair Assad, commonly referred to as Assad Brothers or Duo Assad.
