As a promotion this year, the GFA would like to extend FREE convention registration to teachers who have two or more students enrolled for the Guitar Summit!*

A camp experience for guitarists ages 11-18 happening during the renowned GFA Convention, the 2019 Guitar Summit takes place June 16-21 at the University of Miami. Young musicians can perform, learn, and socialize with artists their own age alongside world famous GFA artists appearing at the 2019 convention.

Students will enjoy exclusive performances and artist engagements designed for the Summit including 2018 ICAC winner Raphaël Feuillâtre, the Brasil Duo, and Zoran Dukic. Learn in technique and interpretation classes with Summit faculty and guest artists including Les Frères Méduses, Raphaella Smits, and Laura Snowden. Students will take part in a daily studio class, rehearse and perform with the GFA Youth Guitar Orchestra, explore the vendor expo, and showcase their talents in a culminating Summit Recital. Experience all that is the GFA Convention through a unique and immersive experience with other talented young guitarists, our excellent staff, and the amazing artists of the GFA. The GFA Youth Guitar Orchestra will open the evening concert of Marcin Dylla, and your students will make life long friendships and memories during an experience unlike any other.
