Hear Fleta, Hauser and more guitars played by young competition winner: Dragos Ilie

Live Performances

When Dragos Ilie was still a young student in Romania, his exceptional guitar skills were noticed by professor Andrew Zohn who visited Romania at the time. This first meeting between the artists, eventually resulted in Dragos coming to the United States to study with Andrew Zohn at the Columbus State University, Schwob School of Music. Currently, Dragos is living in Texas where he is pursuing his master’s degree at the University of Austin with professor Adam Holzman. Dragos is also a prize-winner of over 30 national and international competitions (including the Indiana Guitar Festival, the Columbus Guitar Symposium, ECU Guitar Festival, Texas A&M Guitar Competition, and Florida Guitar Foundation Festival).

Check out 4 these four videos Dragos recorded in our showroom:

“Walk Dance” and “Rustemul” by Miroslav Tadić on 1981 Ignacio Fleta e hijos and 2019 German Vazquez Rubio “Concert 635” SP/MP
