Paco De Lucia Plays Concierto de Aranjuez

I’m curious to hear what the classical world thinks of Paco’s take on this. Most of my flamenco-leaning friends prefer this version, but while I adore Paco de Lucía, it sometimes feels to me like he’s hamming it up a bit. I don’t have a landmark recording as a reference, though, so I go back and forth.
