Three of the World’s Greatest Guitarists Helping Kids Perform from Home: Guitar Celebrities join the Lead Guitar Virtual Showcase!

GSI Foundation and Cordoba Music Group would like to announce that three legendary guitarists have volunteered their time to support the thousands of Lead Guitar students in the cities of Los Angeles, Chicago, Tucson, Phoenix and Denver. SERGIO VALLĺN of MANÁ, ALEX DE GRASSI, and SÉRGIO ASSAD will join the live YouTube broadcast of the LEAD GUITAR VIRTUAL SHOWCASE CONCERT on April 25 at 12PM CST (10AM PST). 

Normally in April or May, Lead Guitar students perform in Showcase Concerts hosted by the University of Arizona and Lead Guitar’s other institutional partners around the U.S.. While those events have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can help Lead Guitar and the GSI Foundation celebrate these hard-working kids by playing with them, together with their school teachers, guest artists and fellow guitarists or by simply tuning in and enjoying the show.

On the occasion of this virtual showcase, we’ve also donated 50 Cordoba C-3  guitars to students who have been at home without an instrument on which to play. We hope that this donation is going to allow these students to play together with our guitar celebrities and enjoy making music while staying at home
