Description
This is one of the more upscale models from the Loriente line of instruments, built by Cordoba in Spain to GSI specs. The French-polished spruce top shows normal light scratches in the typical areas. The figuring in the maple back and sides is breathtaking in person, and the guitar has a soulful, expressive voice with a distinct bloom to each note. I had the original small frets replaced with tall/narrow Dunlop 6105 wire favored by Pepe Romero and a number of forward-thinking builders. Master Luthier Denny Rauen performed the refret and set the guitar up afterwards. It plays like a dream and is currently set up with D'Addario hard tension strings. Included is the original TKL-made plywood case, which is solid with all latches functional, but shows typical cosmetic wear.
