Luthier Julia Wenzel Shares Photos Of Her Newest Guitar

German luthier, Julia Wenzel, is about to finish building a new guitar for our store. Julia is the second prize winner from the 2017 edition of the prestigious Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition in Granada, Spain. Her guitars are completely built in the traditional Spanish style. They resemble the vintage guitars made in the Miguel Rodriguez shop in the 1960s.

Our new instrument has a cedar soundboard and African rosewood back and sides. Compared to her previous instrument featured in our store, Julia also used a different rosette pattern. Overall, it's going to be a great instrument and we just can't wait to see it in our showroom.
