Scott Morris - Introduction to Polyphony

Here’s another video lesson from Scott Morris, who just published the 2nd edition of his Classical Guitar Complete Vol. 1 method, which includes over 40 pages of new content as well as all new photographs, new pieces including some for ensemble and even some new explanations of various techniques that have been improved and refined since the publishing of the first edition.

In his current lesson Scott introduces the concept of polyphony, or playing more than one voice at a time, and addresses some of the challenges unique to the guitar and some ways to prepare and practice to preserve the integrity of each voice. Scott is playing a Loriente Sofia.
