Description

Antonio Marin is considered to be the foundational builder of the Granada school – many luthiers from around the world have come to Granada to work with and learn from this great maker. This particular instrument is a very rare find - a flamenco blanca from the early 1970's in "played" but otherwise pristine condition (no cracks, no repairs). In many ways it is reminiscent of the flamencos coming out of the Miguel Rodriguez workshop in the 1960's - lightly built, with a powerful and bouncy, quick attack but at the same time, having a warm, lyrical character to the tone. This is a fantastic instrument and well priced for the player seeking the sound of a great Southern Spanish mid-century styled flamenco.
