Description

This guitar, a spruce negra, is lightly built, feather-like in weight, yet has enormous power and projection. It has the snappy punch of a snare drum and is startlingly reminiscent in sound and playability of an older Reyes (also from Cordoba) from the 60's and early 70's. This guitar has all the character and style of the great Andalucian flamencos over the past century. It has been owned and used extensively for the last several years by legendary jazz and classical guitarist Fareed Haque. Apart from some moderate wear, and a small hairline crack in the soundboard (expertly repaired with glue only), the guitar is in excellent condition ready for the stage or studio.
