Description

Manuel Reyes of Cordoba is considered to be one of the greatest and most sought-after makers in the world. For more than half a century he has been known for the authentic Andalusian flamenco sound of his guitars. This guitar is easy to play and has all the richness necessary for solo performing. The tone of of this guitar is sweet, beautiful and lyrical while retaining the bite and energy of flamenco. It's a very lightweight instrument, very much in the style of the mid-century flamenco. Apart from one area on the back where there was a repair, the top and sides are clean. It has traditional wooden tuning pegs which are also in fine working order. It's in concert-ready condition, ready for the studio or stage. Reyes guitars have been played by dozens of flamenco professionals internationally for decades. His wait-list for new instruments has been closed for many years due to its enormous size, so these are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.
