Description
Over the last several years, Fritz Ober has been building some of the best Torres/Hauser style guitars available. In our opinion, this maker stands in his own right as one of the great young contemporary guitar makers in the world. His workmanship, choice of materials, and quality of sound are not just outstanding but nearly unmatched and attention to detail is astounding. Playability is excellent. The sound is clear, focused and powerful. We have sold his instruments to such notable players as Pepe and Celin Romero, Earl Klugh, John Ingwerson, Doug Rubio, Andy Summers, and many other professors and collectors of the classical guitar.
This gorgeous instrument from Ober is one of the more striking and beautiful of any we've seen - materials particularly for the back and sides feature dramatic grain patterns and simply a treat to the eye. Soundwise, the looseness, transparency, balance, and inner chordal harmony make this guitar sound much more like an instrument that has been aging for 50-60 years. Condition is great overall, with no cracks or repairs, but there are average signs of playing wear.
A hardshell case is included with this guitar.
