Description

This is a beautiful instrument made by G.V. Rubio, here in California. Materials are very high quality and a pleasure to look at, including a perfectly quarter-sawn spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The shellac finish is applied with a level of attention to detail and perfection found in very few makers. The sound is extremely responsive and open, with plenty of volume and character. The trebles are very clear and easy to work with, and the basses are steady and full. This being his "Torres" model, it has a slightly more compact body size but yet retains a full, big-bodied sound. Playability is a dream with very low action. Condition is excellent with only minor playing wear. Overall, a beautiful-sounding concert guitar for a great price.
