Description
Dominique Field is internationally recognized as France's top builder in his generation. This guitar has unique design features particularly in the headstock, purfling and rosette. The sound is very, very refined and at the same time, extremely powerful. It has the aesthetic beauty of Hauser and Bouchet and the volume of Dammann or Smallman. In our opinion, Field is simply one of the best makers in the world today. His instruments are currently being played by some of the world's leading concert artists including Eduardo Isaac, Vladimir Mikulka and the great flamenco artist, Vicente Amigo, among numerous others. Several other top players are still awaiting instruments including Adam Holzman and Julian Byzantine. Field's wait-list is currently 17 years, making these virtually impossible to acquire. Despite this enormous demand, GSI is proud to be his exclusive world-wide dealer, receiving one instrument per year from him.
This is an excellent example from 2005, with no damage or repairs.
