This is the negra version of the flamenco model in the Perez line, and displays the same amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship that is found in all the guitars from this maker. As a flamenco guitar, this has a sound quality that, while still deeply rooted in the powerful Madrid style, has a very playful and earthy character reminiscent of older Andalusian guitars. It is a very focused, sharp sound with just a little "rasp". Like the Perez classicals, playability and comfort are top-notch, this one even more so due to the lower flamenco action. This is another tremendous concert guitar from the Perez shop, and a great value for a guitar of this caliber. It is in used, but excellent condition with very minor signs of previous playing wear and one small "finish" crack near the golpeador (crack is not in the wood) and a small blemish behind the bridge. Otherwise in tip-top, ready-to-perform condition.
A hardshell case is included with this guitar.
