Description

This instrument was built in Mexico by Abel Garcia - one of Paracho's most respected contemporary luthiers. It was built for Pepe Romero, it's only owner to date. Pepe picked the guitar up during a festival in Paracho in 2000 and played all his concerts there with it - it was in concert ready use from the day it was strung up and it still sounds fantastic. It has a rich cedar sound, very textured and velvety, with great volume and clarity. The action is set very comfortably, and helps make this an overall very enjoyable guitar for player and audience alike. It is in great shape – apart from some minor aesthetic wear in the finish, the condition is great with no damage or repairs. Includes a letter from Pepe Romero verifying the provenance.
