He asked his father, legendary Spanish guitarist Pepe Romero, Sr., "What would you do to a ukulele to make it better suited to you?" He replied, "Add two more stings, a guitar neck, make the body a little larger, and tune it like a guitar." And thus, the Pepe Romero Six String was born. This is Pepe Sr.’s first ever signature model instrument. This instrument blurs the line between a 6 string baritone ukulele and a parlor guitar. It features a polyurethane finish, 14 frets to the body and has standard guitar tuning (E, A, D, G, B, E), so is instantly playable to any guitarist. Price includes padded foam case.
