Robert Ruck is one of the most recognized names today in the USA and has had a very prolific career, having built many hundreds of instruments to date and still going strong. Perhaps the most famous of his output is the guitar owned by Manuel Barrueco which was used on nearly all of his classic recordings. This instrument, dating from the same era, is a superb guitar in all respects. It has very a firm, solid tone, which feels deeply anchored to the fundamental of each pitch while the hum of the higher partials adds a beautiful texture to the body of the sound. Volume is surprisingly loud, this guitar could fill a large concert hall with minimal effort from the player. Like Daniel Friederich, this guitar has the sides lined with mahogany to stiffen the box and force more projection from the soundboard. Condition is excellent – apart from two well-repaired cracks in the back, the guitar is in great shape, and plays easily. Overall a fantastic instrument – Rucks from this great period almost never enter the market so this is a rare opportunity for both collector and player alike.

A hardshell case is included with this guitar.
