Description

From Cordoba, Spain, Manuel Reyes is the most respected flamenco maker in the world today. Over the past half-century, his guitars have been played by countless flamenco professionals (most notably Tomatito, Paco Serrano and Vicente Amigo) and he has become a legend in his lifetime – so much so that for many years now his wait-list for new instruments has been permanently closed. This beautiful negra has tremendous bark throughout the entire register; at the same time, the sound is sweet and tempered, not just raspy as with some modern flamencos. It is easy to play and has all the richness necessary for solo performing. Apart from one small hairline crack in the back, the guitar is in excellent, all original condition. Perfect for a discriminating collector or professional player, alike.
