One of the rarest of collectable instruments, this guitar was made for export by one of the great makers to emerge from the Manuel Ramirez shop. This particular guitar has a very interesting carved headstock – rare for this builder but likely done at the request of a wealthy buyer in Argentina. The sound is rich, bold, and enchanting, and the playability is excellent. The basses are substantial, and the trebles are plump and resonant. The condition is original, with some well-repaired hairline cracks on the back – finish is original throughout. A very fine and well-preserved example from one of the greatest luthiers of the early 20th century.
