Built by the team of Mariano Tezanos Jr. and Teodoro Perez. Mariano Tezanos is world famous for the work of his father (same name) who stamped M. T. inside some of the greatest guitars from Ramirez during the 60s, 70s and 80s. Teodoro Perez also worked with Ramirez as one of his great artisans from the early 70s until recently. Considering the quality of sound, materials, playability and workmanship, this guitar is extremely hard to beat for this price range. The sound is very well balanced with clear singing trebles, and excellent rich, robust bases with great sustain. With the beautiful CSA rosewood sides and back, immaculate workmanship and big, Madrid-style sound, this is definitely one of the best values on the market today. Condition is excellent – there is one string ding behind the bridge, and a small finish crack near the bridge area on the treble side (the wood itself is unaffected). Other than this, the guitar is nearly flawless for condition.
