Based in Southern California, luthier Erez Perelman builds guitars in a traditional Spanish style. Born in Israel and raised among musicians, Perelman found his passion for guitar making after studying guitar under Celin Romero. He considers himself primarily self-taught, although he gives much credit to fellow west coast guitar maker Eugene Clark.
This guitar is heavily inspired by those of Antonio de Torres, Domingo Esteso and Santos Hernandez, and has a memorable old-world tone, full of richness and clarity. With a well-shaped neck and easy action, it is a comfortable guitar for any player. Highly recommended as an excellent value for a handmade concert guitar from this promising new maker.
