This is a first-rate instrument from one of the 20th century's most revered workshops. The tone itself is gorgeous - silky, smooth with deep, powerful basses and thick, weighty trebles. The separation between voices is superb and is achieved without the loss of warmth. It also lives up to its reputation and has enormous power as well as quick flamenco-like response giving it great bounce and instant presence. Despite its longer scale, playability is very easy, due largely to its slender and comfortable neck shape. This guitar has only had two previous owners in its history, and the condition is original with very few signs of playing wear. There is one small (now invisible) crack in the back, repaired years ago by Yuris Zeltins in San Diego. An outstanding example by one of the great makers in history. Very desirable for its quality (and quantity) of sound, superb playability and unmatched aesthetic beauty – collector and performer alike will find this to be an extremely exciting instrument to own and play.
