Description
Over the last several years, Fritz Ober has been building some of the best Torres/Hauser style guitars available. In our opinion, this maker stands in his own right as one of the great young contemporary guitar makers in the world. His workmanship, choice of materials, and quality of sound are not just outstanding but nearly unmatched and attention to detail is astounding. Playability is excellent. The sound is clear, focused and powerful.

This gorgeous instrument from Ober is in great condition with no cracks or repairs - only some finish work to give the guitar a refreshed look - likely to remove wear. The looseness, transparency, balance, and inner chordal harmony make this guitar sound much more like an instrument that has been aging for 50-60 years. As with Ober's guitars the sound is quite complex, with a harmonically-rich texture that gives it a very intriguing, mysterious quality. Overall, a top-level concert and recording instrument for the discriminating performer.
