Samuel Hines - 1967 Friederich

We met guitarist Samuel Hines this past Summer during the Parkening competition and were very glad to have him back for more videos. Here he is playing Bach’s Prelude in E, BWV 1006, on a stunning 1967 Daniel Friederich. 1967 is the year that Friederich won top honors in Liege, establishing his position as one of the leading luthiers of his generation, and this guitar is an excellent example of his early work.
