This guitar is built in the style of Miguel Rodriguez, and for the price, is one of the best "copies" we've seen. The beautiful "rose rosette" is reminiscent of some of Rodriguez' most charming instruments from the 70's and 80's. The clarity and precision of tone are exceptional, and the guitar has a very pure, focused sound. The trebles are big but not heavy and the basses are driving but not boomy. The guitar also boasts a very loud tone, which is again, a quality to be found in the original Rodriguez guitars. Exceptional value for the price. $500 is being discounted from the price for some minor scratches in the finish on the top.
