The Performance Series is the latest line of guitars designed and built in the Hill Guitar workshop. This Performance model is constructed in the traditional Spanish style, with the integral body and neck joint, but incorporates a modern soundboard, with a double-top (cedar exterior, spruce interior) and lattice bracing. It also features dual soundports on the upper bout (side) and 20th fret allowing for repertoire requiring a high c natural. This guitar is powerful, allowing for a wide range of color and an extremely expressive dynamic range. The lattice bracing also gives this guitar a very quick response with a strong punch. All in all, an extremely good concert guitar at a very comfortable price point.
