Description

This is a fantastic instrument built by world-famous luthier Manuel Contreras. Being loud and lively, this guitar is great fun to play, and the sound is characteristic of the Madrid style. It is focused, rich and quite expressive. The action and setup are comfortable, and the quality of materials is first-class. GV Rubio recently did some repairs to it to repair some cracks and giving it a fresh French polished shellac to the top. Features redwood for the top - very rare for this maker, and a beautiful piece of CSA rosewood for the back and sides. A great concert-level guitar at a very affordable price.
