Description

Manuel Reyes is considered to be one of the great living flamenco makers. His guitars have been played by dozens of famous flamenco legends including Vicente Amigo. For many years his son, Manuel Reyes Jr. has been building guitars under the tutelage of his father, and by nearly every account, his instruments are now regarded to have achieved indistinguishable quality from his father's instruments. The sound of this particular guitar is bright, dense and very powerful. It is totally traditional flamenco in the style of Santos or Barbero. It has huge volume and a lot of bark well suited for playing in a live performance setting. Aesthetically, the guitar is exactly the same as his fathers from the same period, the only exception of course being the name and signature on the label.
