Born in Granada, Spain in 1965, Juan Fabián Labella Manjón has been building guitars as an independent maker since 1995 after apprenticing with Jesus Bellido. For the price, this one of the best values we can offer for a truly hand-made Spanish guitar - he is quite proud of the fact that he uses virtually no power tools. He has also developed a shellac-based formula for his finish that is much more durable than most other French polished instruments. For the player on a budget looking for a solid performing instrument that is lightweight, raspy and easy to play, this is an excellent choice. Although this guitar is slightly used, it is in excellent condition with only some minor signs of playing wear. Includes Hiscox hardshell case.
